I am a Staff Research Scientist and Technical Lead for the Machine Assited Cognition department at the Toyota Research Institute (TRI). My work is focused on creating novel technologies for mobile, ubiquitous and wearable computing. I do this through developing interactive systems and interaction techniques that are often formally evaluated. The prototypes also serve as proof points for articulating disruptive or sustaining technology strategies. I also have unique first hand experience with head-up displays like Google Glass as I spent about 8 years using a wearable in my daily life (first starting in 1999).
